Travel Reconnaissance

I'm heading out on a foray through four countries in nine days,checking out venues, sights and sounds in Iceland, Ireland, Scotland and England's Lake District....all for the benefit of our intrepid Textile Travelers!



I'll be

• scouting wedding venues in Ireland
• visiting the Woolclip in the Lake District to
  plan our Woolfest 2007 trip
• stopping by Glasgow to re-connect with all the wonderful architecture by Charles Rennie MacIntosh and have tea at the Willow Tea Rooms
• Then on to Reykjavik for a stopover; there may be time for a dip in the famous Blue Lagoon or to the Christmas Village in Hafnarfjördur.

Then it's back to Christmas frenzy and good cheer!
